Salon:
The salon is large and bright due to the many fixed port windows and overhead hatches. The 12' beam is generous and allows for much more living space below compared to similar sized boats. A U-shaped dinette is to starboard and settee to port. The dining table can drop down and convert to an additional berth when needed. There's also ample storage in cabin lockers and under the seats. An aft facing chart table to port functions well for course plotting or a desk area.
- Bright and airy with lots of windows
- Screens for opening ports / hatches
- Cabin fans
- Sony stereo w/ inside & outside speakers
- Dedicated nav station w/ chart table
Galley:
To starboard is a well equipped and functional galley, featuring a 2 burner stove / oven, Front loading fridge and freezer, stainless double sink, and lots of upper and lower cabinet storage for all your provisions. Generous counter top space is an added bonus.
- Force 10 two burner stove / oven
- Microwave
- Front loading fridge with small freezer
- S/S double sink
- Hunter dishware
- Dedicated trash bin
Accommodations:
The owners cabin is aft and has a queen berth with good storage and hanging locker. Forward is the V-berth with a hanging locker and louvered "windows" that open into the salon. 12V fans in the cabins & salon.
Head:
To port of the companionway is the head, with a separate shower area with folding doors that can be closed off when in use to prevent the rest of the space from getting wet. There's also a wet storage locker in the shower area to stash your grooming supplies.
- Electric flush Jabsco head
Exterior
The majority of time spent on any boat is on deck in the cockpit, so it needs to be functional and comfortable with room for family and friends to enjoy time on the water. The cockpit of the Hunter 36 is both. The 12' beam carries aft, allowing for lots of room for both the captain the guests in the space. Plenty of seating, cockpit table with folding leaves, strategically placed hardware and good visibility from the helm makes this space work well.
Clear side decks with non-skid make moving from the stern to the bow easy and safe. The raised traveler on Hunter's signature arch allows for an unobstructed view. The integrated swim platform allows you to board a dinghy / kayak / paddleboard easily. There's even a cockpit shower to rinse off with. A large bimini and dodger overhead give good sun protection and keep the rain out. Cockpit cushions and aft "perch" seats add more comfort and room to enjoy the sail.
